The Studio

The Studio is the environment where you can view and comment on assets. Supported file types are videos, images, audio tracks, 3D models, and pdf documents.

Collaborating in the studio

The main features of the studio are:

Note: You must be a member or admin to be able to change the status of files, share links with external users, link audio, and manage versions.

Navigating files, and the player control panel

You can switch to the next or previous file, select resolution, open files in fullscreen mode and more in the studio:

  • Switch files with the Previous file and Next file buttons. You can also click on the Switch file icon in the header of the studio to open project files inside the studio to navigate between files.

  • Move between markers with the Previous marker and Next marker buttons.

  • For video files, click Playback rate to set the speed (0.25x, 0.5x, 0.75x, normal, 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x, and 4x).

  • Click Quality to change the video resolution. There can be different resolutions depending on your transcoding settings. Original is always the file that was uploaded independent of your settings.

  • View content in fullscreen by clicking on the fullscreen button.

Time settings can be Time, Frame, or Timecode. Time is a user-friendly HH:MM:SS format, or only MM:SS if the video is shorter than one hour. Frame can be useful when working with specific video frames. Timecode in SMPTE is in format HH:MM:SS:FF. If the file has TC_IN, it will be accounted for.

Note: If you experience problems due to poor internet connection, try lowering the resolution.
