Version management

With version management, you can stack versions to keep them organized, rearrange their order, and rename them.

Stacking and unstacking versions

Stack and unstack versions by the following steps:

1. Click on the version drop-down menu in the header of the studio, and New version

2. Drag and drop or upload the new version of the file

3. Click Create version

4. Rearrange versions by holding down the handlebar, drag and drop

5. Click on the three dots menu to the right of the version to rename or delete it

6. In the project, right-click on the stacked assets you want to unstack and click Manage versions. Then click on the three dots and Remove them from the stack to unstack the files.

You can also stack and unstack files in the icon and list view in the project by dragging and dropping files on top of each other. Stacked versions must be of the same format, for example, video on video and image on image.

Note: A new file version gets a clean timeline and comment feed.
