Company
A Company is only available to Enterprise customers and each Enterprise customer has only one Company. The Owner and Admins of a Company can control the User and Team Memberships in the Company.
All users that are part of a Company are considered Company Members. Their user accounts work as all other accounts, with one exception: Admins can disable (and enable) Company Members’ accounts. This is useful when off-boarding employees.
Adding people to your Company
There are two main ways to add people to your Company:
From the Company Users settings, Company settings > Users. Here you can import multiple users at the same time.
Via automation, with a verified Company domain, see below.
Verified Company domain
With a verified Company domain, users with email addresses on that domain will be automatically added to your Company.
This is useful for a soft roll-out of KLASH, where users sign up as needed, as it doesn’t require any additional admin work from your end.
To start the domain verification process, go to Company settings > Settings > Domains and click New domain.
Enter your domain, for example faunafilmstudio.com and hit Confirm.
Now it gets a bit technical. KLASH will give you instructions to add a DNS TXT record to your domain’s DNS settings. This is a secret code that only you and KLASH know. Adding it to your domain proves to KLASH that you control the domain.
Once you have added the TXT record, click the Verify button. This is what it looks like when you’re done.
Any user that registers with an email address on your domain (i.e. ending in @faunafilmstudio.com in this case) will now be automatically added to your Company. Note: KLASH will not add existing users retroactively so only users that sign up from this point and forward will be automatically added.
