Roles and permissions
There are a few different ways for accessing content on KLASH, and not all require that you register a user account. As an Admin, Member, Member restricted and Viewer, you have to register a user account, while as a Share user you get a simplified studio and do not have to register an account. Here is an overview of the roles and permissions:
Admin: An admin is at the top of the permissions hierarchy. They can manage teams, projects, company settings, invite users, and set roles and permissions.
Member: A member can upload and download files, comment, start a sync timeline and real-time live streaming session.
Member restricted: A member restricted can do everything that a member can but not share files with external users.
Viewer: A viewer can view and comment.
Share user: As a Share user, you are the recipient of a share link. You get a simplified studio and do not have to register an account. The sender of the share link can decide what features should be available for you. Learn more about Sharing files, folders, and projects.
Note: Making someone an Admin on the top of the hierarchy in a company account will grant the user permission to manage all the teams and projects belonging to the organization. To restrict access to specific teams, invite the user as an Admin, Member, Member restricted, or Viewer in the relevant teams, and then make sure that the user does not have permission higher than Member as a Company user. Roles and permissions are moreover inherited from a team to the projects belonging to the team. If you want to invite guests to specific projects, you can do so under the Project Users tab.
