Sharing links with external users
With KLASH, you can share files with external users with nothing more than a link. The recipient gets a simplified studio and does not have to register or sign in to KLASH. You can share individual files, folders, and complete projects. You can protect your links with a password, two-factor authentication, watermarking, time windows, and by limiting the number of views.
Creating a Share link
Create a Share link by following these steps:
Click on the Share button top-right of the studio. You can also right-click on any file or folder in the project, and select Share. Click on the project name in the project overview and select Share from the dropdown menu to share the complete project.

Select a Share name. Share names are only displayed for your team members, not the share recipients.

Click Security, and select between Open access, Password, Email Two-Factor, or Phone Two-Factor.

You can disable commenting and downloading of files.

Optionally, add a personal message, which will be included in the email.

If you picked two-factor authentication as the security option, you need to add the recipient's email address or mobile phone number.

Click Create.
Note: You must be a project member or admin to be able to create Share links. Your account holder can force password or two-factor authentication protection on links.
Advanced settings
In the Advanced tab, you can find settings for Version to share, Audio switching, Link availability, and Watermarking.
Version to share
You can share all versions, the latest version, or individual versions in the Version to share dropdown menu. A prerequisite is that the versions are stacked.
Audio switching
Allow audio switching to let the Share user switch between linked audio tracks. If disabled, the player will use the saved audio settings. Learn more about Audio linking.

Link availability
With Link availability, you can set start and end dates and times, and limit the number of views. The Share user will see a countdown until the link becomes available. A view is counted as someone watching at least 75 percent of the video.

Watermarking
With KLASH, you can add dynamic watermarking to protect your content. Dynamic watermarking can show the Share user’s email address, IP number, your logo, and more. First, you need to create a watermark preset. Learn how to create a watermark preset in Watermarking.
